Helen Simotas graduated from the University of Texas at Austin
in 1993. She then attended St. Mary's Law School where she received
her law degree in 1996. Ms. Simotas participated in the St. Mary's
Criminal Justice Clinic as a third year law student where she had
the opportunity to argue a criminal appellate case at the 4th Court
of Appeals, second chair a jury trial, attend court and negotiate
plea bargain agreements.
Ms. Simotas began practicing law in Houston in 1997 and has handled
primarily criminal cases since. In July 2002, Ms. Simotas was selected
to attend Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming for three
weeks. She has also attended Psychodrama Workshops which have given
her the skills and insight to be able to better select a jury and
really stand in her clients' shoes.
If you hire Ms. Simotas, you will not be hiring a normal law firm.
You will be hiring a lawyer who cares for her clients and is willing
to fight for them. Someone who will represent you effectively, competently,
and with compassion.
